Reverie Psychotherapy, PLLC

“To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly.” -Henri Bergson

Hello!

Welcome to Reverie Psychotherapy, PLLC. My name is Jason (He/Him) and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) serving Washington and New York residents, as well as English speaking expats. I offer virtual sessions from the comfort of your home or any other space you choose.

I specialize in working with people of color, LGBTQ+ wellness, acculturation, and relationship issues including family, peer, and interpersonal conflicts. I currently work with adults and young adults (18+); I have worked with many university students as a former academic advisor and counselor, and understand the stressors related to higher education and post-graduate expectations.

Philosophy & Approach

I believe a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust is essential for effective therapy. I strive to create a friendly, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment where we can work collaboratively.

While my foundation is long-term and relationally centered, I tailor my approach to your individual needs and goals, drawing on CBT and DBT techniques as needed to address short-term challenges.
